Responsibilities
As a TRR Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include:
- Import & Export Documentation: Oversee the preparation and handling of all necessary documentation for import and export operations. Ensure that documents are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
- Freight Operations: Manage the logistics and operations related to the shipping of goods, including coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all shipping activities comply with local and international laws, regulations, and standards. Stay updated on changes in shipping regulations and implement necessary adjustments to procedures.
- Process Adherence: Follow specified systems, processes, and procedures meticulously to maintain compliance and efficiency in operations.
- Coordination and Communication: Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and customers to ensure seamless operations. Address any issues or discrepancies in documentation and shipments promptly.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on shipping activities, including performance metrics, compliance status, and any issues encountered.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in the shipping/logistics industry, with a focus on clearing forwarding and import/export operations and documentation.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the export/import business and related freight operations. Familiarity with local and international shipping regulations and standards.
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. A technical degree or similar qualification is also acceptable.
- Compliance: Strong understanding of compliance with legal, regulatory, and other standards related to shipping and logistics.
- Local Availability: Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE and available for immediate employment.
