Job Overview:

As a Cashier at Afaq, you will be the face of our retail outlets, providing a seamless and pleasant checkout experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to handle transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that each customer leaves our store satisfied with their shopping experience. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Transaction Handling:

    • Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using the cash register or POS system.
    • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring correct change is given.
    • Ensure all transactions are recorded properly and end-of-day balancing is accurate.
  2. Customer Service:

    • Greet customers warmly as they approach the checkout area.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
    • Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies as needed.
  3. Operational Efficiency:

    • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
    • Restock and manage checkout supplies, such as bags and receipt paper.
